Hands down, the best gym in the area. I’ve got three degenerative discs in my lower back, and Pete and Lisa have trained me for over two years while working around my specific issues. Lisa is a nurse with a masters in exercise science, and Pete is a former trainer for Army Rangers. In short, they know their stuff (unlike so many trainers at Big Box gyms who take two month certification course and then offer pseudoscientific advice that results in injury). Since working out with them, my back problems have drastically decreased, while my overall fitness has increased. And not only are they great trainers, they’re great people!

The gym itself is great. It’s small, but it has all the equipment anyone would need for a workout, and they have several unique machines I haven’t seen elsewhere. Plus, it’s quiet and just has a better feel/vibe than so many corporate places. They don’t have rows and rows of bikes, treadmills, etc.; it’s not that kind of gym. It’s a local business that specializes in personalized training for people who are serious about their health and fitness.

If you’re looking to get in shape (or in better shape, but with people who know their stuff and can guide you in your path to improvement), do yourself a favor, and hire Pete or Lisa to train you. For me, that decision has been one of the best investments I’ve ever made. In short, I can not recommend these guys enough!
